V8 Supercar Transporter Convoy

Darwin CBD

Witness the massive V8 Supercar Transporters as they roll into town.  It's a traffic stopper and a fabulous spectacle as these shiny, colourful and loud semi's blow their horns in appreciation of being welcomed to the Top End.  The Northern Territory Police lead the convoy and with exact precision the traffic lights magically turn green as the convoy nears it's destination - the Darwin CBD.

Darwinites and visitors line the streets and eagerly await the first glimpse of the convoy.  The event is free and culminates in the Convoy stopping in front of Raintree Park on Knuckey Street.  The Chief Minister proudly hands over the Northern Territory flag to the lead transporter 'The V8 Supercars Official Transporter', no chance of you missing it with international superstar Pink strewn across the side - Awesome!

With the flag handed over the festivities commence, meet the V8 Supercar drivers, get your posters signed, buy merchandise, and have your photo taken with the gorgeous V8 Supercar Grid Girls.  With entertainment and outside broadcast by Mix 104.9 FM kicking off from 9am, the only place to be on Thursday 14 June is in the Darwin CBD.  Get set for a fabulous weekend!

SKYCITY Casino Lawns

Bring the whole family down to the SKYCITY lawns and get up close and personal with the V8 Supercar drivers.  There will be car displays plus plenty of entertainment.  Make sure you get your complimentary poster signed for your garage or kids bedroom!  Make a night of it, have a bite to eat and flutter at SKYCITY or check out the Mindil Beach Markets right next door.
